Innovative NSF Program Helps Rutgers-Newark Scientists Turn Ideas into Startups

Rutgers University | RU-N is welcoming a new initiative that will train its scientists to become entrepreneurs in order to get research out of the lab and into the marketplace faster. The NSF-supported Innovation Corps (I-Corps) is a four-week class that tests whether an innovative research idea has a viable customer base and determines if—and how—work on a project should move forward and morph into a tech startup.
